How to find your first move in CifraGrid
You do not need to solve the entire math crossword at once. Start with an equation you can complete, then see what it tells you about a crossing.
In this Starter Grid example, level 36, look at the horizontal equation at the top:
□ + 12 = 18
The missing number is 6, because 6 + 12 = 18. A 6 is available in the number bank.
That same square belongs to a vertical equation. Using the 6, you can read it as:
9 − 6 = □
You now know the square below equals 3. Check it: 9 − 6 = 3.
That 3 also belongs to a horizontal equation:
3 × 3 = □
The result is 9, another tile available in the bank.
One equation has led you to the next. Start with a number you can justify, then follow its connections.
